How many photo or video can be saved on the kids camera Micro SD card ?
We are often asked by customer that how many photos or minutes of video can be taken by the micro SD card as 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.
First, let’s take a brief look of kids camera memory cards capacities:

4GB: Suitable for basic storage needs, such as storing a small amount of photos, music, etc.
8GB: Can store more photos, suitable for daily photography, short video recording and other scenarios.
16GB: Supports higher capacity storage requirements, can store more high-definition pictures and short videos.
32GB: Large capacity storage, suitable for long-term video recording or high-resolution image files.
The following is the approximate storage capacity corresponding to the common capacity of children’s cameras (taking 1M/48M pixels, JPG/AVI format as an example):
| Memory card capacity | Number of photos stored (JPG , 1MP) |
Number of photos stored (JPG , 48MP) |
Number of videos stored (AVI , VGA) |
Number of videos stored (AVI , 1080p) |
| 4GB | 15100 | 2300 | 36′ | 18′ |
| 8GB | 30200 | 4600 | 1:12′ | 36′ |
| 16GB | 59500 | 9200 | 2:23′ | 1:11′ |
| 32GB | 117400 | 18100 | 4:42′ | 2:21′ |
The above data is for reference only, and the actual capacity and quantity may vary depending on the camera model and the complexity of the photo scene. The detail data stored on a kids camera memory card depends on various factors, such as the following factors:
1. Kids camera memory card capacity size (such as 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, etc.); The children’s camera supports a maximum of 32GB
2. Resolution and format of kids camera photos and videos (such as JPG, RAW, AVI); The standard photo format for children’s cameras is JPG, and the video format is AVI
3. Pixel count of the kids camera: Interpolation pixels are commonly used in kids cameras, such as hardware VGA, photo interpolation pixels up to 48MP, and video interpolation up to 1080P
4. Complexity of kids camera photo content: Complex scenes (such as night scenes and changing light and shadow) result in larger files
5. Child camera continuous shooting mode vs single shooting: During continuous shooting, the compression algorithm may be optimized differently, and the file volume may change.
