Regarding various issues from customers regarding kids cameras: Shutter speed? What is the difference between different image resolutions? How to choose an SD card? How long will it take time to full charge from fully discharge? How to protect the battery from problems when the camera is not in use for a long time? Is it possible to upload digital camera firm ware through customer PC?
About SD Card

1.What are the requirements for SD cards used in children’s cameras?
We normally adopt high-speed C10 card without brand.
Capacity: 4G, 8G, 16G, 32G.
Maker: No special requirement.
Recommend to be below 32GB too(32GB included.)
Card wafer recommendation: AS/AY. (Inside the micro SD card there’s wafer/chip too, same as normal chipset. There’s many different wafer too.)
2.How much SD card capacity sizing to storage 100 images and 60 sec movie x 2?
Taking a photo at a resolution of 20M requires approximately 600K of memory, so taking 100 photos would require around 50M of memory.
Shooting a 60s movie requires around 6M of memory, while shooting two requires 12M of memory.
3.Do you able to delete built in memory and function unit only by built in SD card?
Yes. We can. This way customer won’t be able to take photo without microsd card.
4.Is any malfunction happen such as game and frame and other operation if delete internal memory ?
No. Quite on the contrary. Keeping only necessary part for running system only is better the system clean and stability. So that the internal memory run only system only, less bug chance.

About Children’s Camera Battery

1.If user take 10 photo per day, how long days battery will last once fully charged?
If the battery is fully charged, taking photos continuously can take about an hour. Assuming that 10 photos are taken every day , it can take about half months. We do not have acutal testing data for this yet, not run actual experiment regarding this question. Because it has connection to do with the actual using environment & taking pic. interval.
2.What will be happen if batttery is completely discharged and user keep it uncharge for more than one year?
Need to recharge the battery. Static current of battery is ≤15uA.
3.How long will it take days to completelt natual discharge after ex-factory?
5~20months .Static current of battery≤15uA.The period of 5-20 months is already based on a fully charged state. After power off, static current of battery≤15uA.
4.If user keep charging unit by USB cable for more than one month, what will be happen?
When the battery is fully charged, the circuit will cut off power supply. It has over-charge protection.
5.How long will it take time to full charge from fully discharge?
Around 2 hours.
6.Does any ignition problem happen before?
This haven’t happen before.
7.How unit protect from ignition problem caused by battery ?
Battery has over-charge protection circuit design.
8.Battery charging level at factory?
Normally for our factory we will charge above 50% .
9.What will be happen if unit is uncharged for more than 2 years from ex-factory date ?
2 years without and any battery power may end up not possbile to power on. But for our stock and sample it can still be charged.
Potential risk situation: there are two situations after damage: the first is that the electrolyte inside the battery is completely digested and cannot be charged; The second type is to directly damage the separator inside the battery, causing the battery to bulge.

About the Image Resolution

Image resolution can be changed from 2M~40M, but actual image quality is not big different between 2M and 40M. Why ?
It’s interpolation. The image pixel used are same one multiplied only. Not hardware pixel that’s why. The resolution can be adjusted through software to change the size of the image or video, while the image quality remains unchanged.

About the camera version upgrade

Is it possible to upload digital camera firm ware through customer PC?
